Indor was the father of Peleg and a grandfather of Tuor, according to the early version of the legendarium in The Book of Lost Tales.[1]

Etymology[edit | edit source]

The name Indor is in Gnomish, most likely being the word indor ("master of house, lord") used as a personal name.[2] Its Qenya cognate is also Indor.[3]
