His reign was without any significant event, and he died in T.A. 339 after having ruled Arnor for ninety years. He was succeeded by his son Arantar.[2]
Etymology
Eldacar's name was Quenya for "Elf Helm", coming from elda meaning "elf", and the suffixal form -car of carma "helm".[3]
