Questionable statements[edit source]
Just wanted to clear up a discrepancy. This page says not to use it to question statements you believe to be false but Help:References states "Questionable statements can be challenged with the {{fact}} template. Aragorn II (talk) 00:54, 12 January 2024 (UTC)
- I think the phrasing can be improved but I believe this note is trying to encourage editors to take the initiative and remove statements that are likely false. If a statement is likely true and just missing a source, that's where the fact statement comes in. Hyarion (talk) 05:07, 12 January 2024 (UTC)
