King of Nargothrond
From Tolkien Gateway
King of Nargothrond also Lord of Nargothrond[1] was the ruler of the city of its kingdom. The King sat in the throne in the city of Nargothrond and wore a silver crown.[2]
The title begun by Finrod Felagund, who founded the citadel and realm of Nargothrond. Finrod was overlord of all the Elves of West Beleriand (except the Falathrim, who were Sindar and ruled by Cirdan).[3] He later gave his silver crown of Nargothrond to Orodreth in order to leave and fulfill his oath to Beren.[4]
Note that other minor nobles are also called "lord of Nargothrond": Guilin and/or his sons, Gelmir and Gwindor are also mentioned as such.[5][6]
