"Sagan om Ringen" 1971[edit source]

I wanted to bring attention to the 1971 Swedish film adaptation of the Lord of the Rings. The movie should be mentioned in the article since it's the first movie adaptation in existence (at least to my knowledge)Links:episode 1: https://www.oppetarkiv.se/video/11519310/sagan-om-ringen-avsnitt-1-av-2episode 2: https://www.oppetarkiv.se/video/11519266/sagan-om-ringen-avsnitt-2-av-2 Unsigned comment by EbbeZack (talk • contribs).

We're quite wary about mentioning non-licensed adaptions. Is there anything known if this adaptation was approved? I guess, though, that the very first adaptation could merit a note, especially considering that Bo Hansson is quite well-known.--Morgan 21:24, 23 April 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Missing references[edit source]

I was surprised that there is a lot of text in this article, but there are hardly any references for this text. In addition there is a link to an article about the (different) editions that does not work. I once collected information about differences between the first and the second edition that were mentioned in The History of Middle-earth series of books on a user's sandbox page (was it the user Sage's page?). --Akhorahil 14:38, 13 June 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
