This page (as with other chapters of The Two Towers) states: The Departure of Boromir is the first chapter of the third book in The Two Towers. Since this is the third book of The Lord of the Rings, but the first book of The Two Towers, should it be changed? --DoctorWellington 19:44, 18 January 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Yes. --Mith (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 07:59, 20 January 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]

We have two images unused on the wiki that are of much better quality (in my opinion) and suitable for this article:

John Howe - Boromir 02.jpg Ted Nasmith - The Last Words of Boromir.jpg

I am suggesting we change to one of these, whilst I prefer Howe's work I think Naismith's image captures the scene better. JR Snow (talk) 13:58, 2 June 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Thanks for letting me test out the new Discussion functionality :) This is so much more user-friendly. I agree, the current illustration has been there for several years now so it wouldn't hurt to freshen things up anyway. I'd vote for Ted Nasmith's illustration. I also vote for Ted Nasmith's image, because it captures the entire scene and does not just show the upper body of a bearded warrior that has been struck by multiple arrows. Akhôrahil (talk) 14:56, 2 June 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
That feels like a consensus to me. :) I went ahead and made the change, but if anyone has a different opinion, don't hesitate to comment below. Thanks! Hyarion (talk) 17:04, 2 June 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
