methed
From Tolkien Gateway
methed is a Sindarin word meaning "end".[1][2]
Etymology[edit | edit source]
Patrick H. Wynne has suggested that methed appears to be related to the Noldorin adjective methen ("end, final"), and might therefore be derived from the root MET ("end").[2][3][4]
Examples[edit | edit source]
- Methed-en-glad ("the End of the Wood")
- Methedras ("last peak")
