Aia María ("Ave Maria" in Quenya) is J.R.R. Tolkien's Quenya translation of the Ave Maria, a traditional Roman Catholic prayer to the Virgin Mary. Different versions of the prayer were published in Vinyar Tengwar, Number 43, January 2002, edited by Patrick H. Wynne, Arden R. Smith, and Carl F. Hostetter.

Aia María quanta Eruanno,
i Héru aselye;
aistana elye imíca nísi
ar aistana i yáve mónalyo Yésus.
Aire María Eruo ontaril
á hyame rámen úcarindor
sí ar lúmesse ya firuvamme.
Násië.
Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee;
blessed art thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
