From Tolkien Gateway
-nya is a pronominal Quenya suffix, 1st person singular possessive, "my"[1] (e.g. tatanya = "my father").[2] This ending seems to prefer i as its connecting vowel where one its needed, cf. Anarinya "my sun",[3] so also in hildinyar.[4][5]
