Year of the Trees 1140 (abbreviated to Y.T. 1140) is the 1140th year of the Trees in the First Age of Arda. Year of the Trees 1140 was also V.Y. 4640 in Valian Years.
Notable events in this year include:
- Tirion is full-wrought and the tower of Ingwë - Mindon Eldaliéva - is built. However, many of the Vanyar yearn for the light of the Two Trees and move to Valinor and live amongst the Valar.[1]
