Quality of edits

There have been some issues with the edits, which you have made in the past.

Your marked the overwhelming majority of your edits as minor edits by leaving the minor edit checkbox ticked although your edits did not fulfill the criteria for a minor edit. Please read the Minor edits section of the Editing page "A check to the "minor edit" box signifies that only superficial differences exist between the version with your edit and the previous version: typo/grammar corrections, fixing a formatting problem, etc. A minor edit is a version that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Marking a change as minor does not mean that the edit is unimportant." Your edits have not been "minor tweaks" although you have desribed them as such in the summary box of your edits.

Tolkien Gateway aims to be a high quality encyclopedia that clearly distinguishes between facts and mere possibilities. I ask you not to delete phrases, such as "It is possible that", which serve to disclose that the rest of the statement is only a possiblity and not a fact. For example, Faramir in Henneth Annun did not say about which Númenóreans where in Middle-earth he was talking about, he did not say it was the Black Númenóreans, so it is merely possible that he meant the Black Númenóreans with some of his statements. --Akhôrahil (talk) 09:51, 15 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
