Images

Keep in mind the naming conventions. Images from Lotro should be named "Lord of the Rings Online - Character's name". Also, "Images of" categories should include the full pagename, with the "(rider of Rohan)". You also need to manually add [[Category:Images from The Lord of the Rings Online: Riders of Rohan]] to all of them. And lastly, if the character does not yet have an image in the infobox, you can put the image there. --Ederchil ^{(Talk/Contribs/Edits)} 15:16, 12 June 2013 (UTC)

Changing images

Infobox images should not be changed unless first discussed and agreed to on the article's talk page. I've undone your edit on Pervinca Took, if you would like the image changed please discuss on the talk page first. If you've changed the image in any other articles please do the same there.

From Help:images: "We do not appreciate the replacement of an infobox image with something of your own fancy, at least not until a discussion on the article's talk page has ruled in your favour. Popular characters such as Legolas and Aragorn have been the victims of such actions. Persistent users who go on after warnings are at risk of being blocked."

• I think that is a pretty straightwordard case, as despite the source being from an adaptation, it is the only one that specifically shows the character in question. The current image of the three sisters does not even make it clear which one is which, and thus fails in depicting what Pervinca Took actually looks like. This is not at all like the case of Legolas and Aragorn where so many different good options are available. Malachi (talk) 14:22, 7 March 2024 (UTC)

  I have no problem with the image you changed it to, and agree with your point that the drawing isn't clear as to which one is Pervinca Took. My message was just to let you know that even if you believe your image is better you should still use the talk page to discuss it.   Eh, I would do it just because it's in the rules and to save myself future issues. Also, at least on the Pervinca Took page, you didn't give any explanation of the change you made.
