Who am I?I am a fan and admirer of J.R.R. Tolkien's works. I have been using Tolkien Gateway for about a year and became a member on 5 April , 2021. I have a special interest in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit books.I was introduced to Tolkien's Legendarium when I was about nine or ten years old and like many others it was through Peter Jackson's LOTR trilogy but it was not until 2018 when I started gaining information about it. I was intruigued by the genealogies given in the Lord of the Rings book. After that I sort of memorised the whole family tree of Elros (because I find the Númenóreans very relatable). It was just the beginning, I ended up studying House of Hurin, House of Durin and many more. |
