- "When winter first begins to bite, and stones crack in the frosty night, when pools are black and trees are bare, 'tis evil in the Wild to fare."
- ― Bilbo Baggins to Frodo in The Fellowship of the Ring, "The Ring Goes South"
About Me
I am DoctorWellington, a huge fan of Tolkien's works. I am very much a beginner to this website, and though I most likely have many accidental errors, I am trying my best to help. I am very interested in all of Tolkien's works, particularly The Lord of the Rings (In fact I have lost count of how many times I read it). I also enjoy maps (I like to study maps of all kind, fictional or otherwise), and languages, mostly Quenya and Sindarin roots.
Username
I suppose my username needs some explanation. I am not a doctor (a job I could never do, I am haemophobic) and my last name is not Wellington. I'm still not quite sure how I came up with it.
To-do
- Chapters (especially those of The Silmarillion and other works; I have finished The Lord of the Rings)
- Infoboxes: Add them
- Tense: Most chapters seem to have been written in present tense; rewrite in past (including The Hobbit)
- Links: At various points links are forgotten or reoccur
- Dates: Add "other versions of the legendarium" with references to The Return of the Shadow, et cetera.
