The Transactions of the Honourable Society of Cymmrodorion Session 1923-24 is an issue of the Welsh annual journal Transactions of the Honourable Society of Cymmrodorion[1]. W. Rhys Roberts's essay "Gerald of Wales on the Survival of Welsh" contains a translation by J.R.R. Tolkien of a portion of a Latin text into late twelfth century English of the South West Midlands. It also notes a suggestion by Tolkien on the significance of "senior quidam".[2]
