I propose to merge this page with the Andrast page. J.R.R. Tolkien only mentions Ras Morthil once in Aldarion and Erendis in Unfinished Tales of Númenor and Middle-earth and says very little about it other than that Aldarion began to explore the coasts southwards, past the mouths of Baranduin and Gwathló and Angren, he rounded the dark cape of Ras Morthil and beheld the great Bay of Belfalas. and implying that it is at the western end of the Bay of Belfalas if one sails down the coast of Eriador from the north. Christopher Tolkien says in his note 6 to Aldarion and Erendis that it "must be" Andrast and includes it as an editor's note in brackets in Appendix D of The History of Galadriel and Celeborn after "the great promontory between Isen and Lefnui that formed the north arm of the Bay of Belfalas" and in his index in the entries Andrast and Ras Morthil. --Akhorahil 14:39, 31 May 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
