Apologies that I didn't answer earlier, I just wanted to be sure the article is properly completed and properly referenced. As for the naming of the article, I simply wasn't sure what Tolkien Gateway's policies are concerning foreign radio adaptations. (I plan to eventually create articles for the German adaptations as well, possibly the Danish ones, though the latter have less material to reference, so it's an open question.) I know that Hobitit has kept its original Finnish title, but that was in the television works category, so I simply wasn't sure what the wiki's policy on foreign works is. If the native name is seen as more appropriate, I can always change it to the native name (and do the other adjustments). Let me know. --A Hobbit Gentleman 22:53, 30 April 2021 (UTC)

I can't find a specification in the Manual of Style, but the policy of the wiki is to name articles with the name most commonly used by the users. Most people know the radio series by its original name, while "The Lord of the Rings" is a translation made by the wiki, that's why I think it should be in Slovak. I'll ask Myth before making any decision. Good work, I knew of this series because of its music, although I cannot understand a word, it's a lovely production. --LorenzoCB 07:59, 1 May 2021 (UTC)

Thank you, Lorenzo. I'll wait until you and Myth give the go-ahead and adjust the title (or you can do it on your own, if you prefer). I listened to this radio series back when it premiered nearly twenty years ago. I've been glad the rerun five years ago was so successful, people remembered this adaptation very well even after a decade and a half (many people made recordings, even me as a young teen). Though the series has never been commercially released, Klimáček has admitted in interviews that people are still sending him praise for his work on the series even now, after twenty years. Not the worst legacy to have as an adapter. As for lack of song intelligibility: The lyrics in the adapted songs have essentially the same meaning as the originals, and for the newly-written songs, I did post English translations of the lyrics in the comments under their videos (Frodo's and Sam's song and the Minas Tirith and Minas Morgul song). --A Hobbit Gentleman 23:32, 1 May 2021 (UTC)

I've decided to go ahead with the rename. Given that the other foreign adaptations seem to be using their native titles, I feel that using the native title for this radio series would also be for the best. --A Hobbit Gentleman 20:08, 23 May 2021 (UTC)
