I wrote in the article that "Nothing else is known of the desert", but perhaps some inventive person can make something out of "all the enemy that were not slain or drowned were gone flying over the [?borders] into the desert that lies north of Harad" (WR, p. 413), together with the earlier draft "all the enemy that were not slain or drowned were flying over the Poros into Lothland desert" (WR, p. 425). Etymology

The Ardapedia article notes an explanation of the word Lostladen published(?) in Helmut W. Pesch's book Elbisch (anyone has a copy of the book?). Perhaps this could be worth noting in our article too.--Morgan 20:10, 16 May 2011 (UTC)Reply[reply]
