A citation needed for "Beren ... was named after Beren, his maternal grandfather." I can't find this in the Silmarillion chapter Of Beren and Lúthien. If anyone can help with this that would be great! --GondolinFan 17:45, 23 December 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Citation found and added. --GondolinFan 19:55, 30 December 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Great, although I think there needs to be more sources throughout. --Mith (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 20:00, 30 December 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
After reading the article through, I agree. I've done what I can with sources and have added the sources tag again. --GondolinFan 00:01, 2 January 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Lord of Tol Galen

In the sequence at the bottom we have that Dior was Lord of Tol Galen as King of Doriath. Is there a reference for this? --Mith (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 09:16, 31 December 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Same content (verbatim) as a different website

Also, the "Aftermath" section is exactly the same as the "Later History" section at https://aminoapps.com/c/lotr/page/item/beren/QMfY_IJkojd3pvQrQx27nvlKZ52BGw. Is this a problem? --GondolinFan 00:01, 2 January 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

It appears that someone there has copied Gateway content, rather than the other way round. Their website is relatively recent, whilst the "Aftermath" section on here is largely unchanged over a much longer time period.
