Realms in Exile
From Tolkien Gateway
Realms in Exile was the collective name for Arnor and Gondor, also known as the Kingdoms of the Dúnedain, ancient Arnor the North-kingdom and Gondor the South-kingdom of the Dúnedain in Middle-earth. Both Kingdoms were founded in S.A. 3320[1] by High King Elendil, and his sons who ruled Ithilien and Anorien.
Arnor vanished during the Third Age (divided in T.A. 861[2] and destroyed in 1974[3]) but at the end of that Age, the Westlands were reunited under Aragorn Elessar.
