In the article "Disparaging Narnia: Reconsidering Tolkien's View of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe", Josh B. Long quotes two formerly unpublished excerpts from letters by J.R.R. Tolkien (to Mrs. Munby 21 October 1963 and Eileen Elgar 24 December 1971).
