Mettarë
From Tolkien Gateway
Mettarë, meaning "Last-day", immediately preceded Yestarë and was the last day of the year in the calendars of the Elves and the Dúnedain. In the Calendar of Imladris, Mettarë fell more or less on 5 April in the Shire Calendar. In the Kings' Reckoning and Stewards' Reckoning it corresponded with 1 Yule in the Shire Calendar, around the winter solstice. In the New Reckoning it corresponded with 24 March in the Shire Calendar.[1]
