Location of Leeds
Leeds is a moderately large city in Yorkshire, England. It has a population of 726,000 and is home to a vibrant university - Leeds University- where J.R.R. Tolkien was a professor between 1921 and 1925. Christopher, Tolkien's second son, was born here during this period.
