Handir (F.A. 441-495) son of Haldir was the fifth leader of the Haladin.[1] He became the leader of the Haladin after his father fell in the rearguard of Fingon's host during its retreat from Anfauglith.[2] He married Beldis of the House of Bëor and had one son called Brandir the Lame.

Handir was said to be a man of great prowess in battle, and he was slain by Orcs north of the Forest of Brethil.[3]
