Guilin was a Noldo of Nargothrond, the father of two sons, Gwindor and Gelmir. Guilin himself makes no direct appearances in Tolkien's works. The most we can say is that he doesn't appear to be dwelling where we'd expect him, in Nargothrond, in the later First Age, but the reason for this is a mystery.
