Gamwich was a village of unknown location in the Shire.

The original home town of the Gamgee family and source of Hamfast Gamwich's chosen surname, the town was also known for its own rope-making.

In The Atlas of Middle-earth Karen Fonstad puts its location out near the borders of the Westfarthing, but this is only speculation.
