Fourth Age 67

Fourth Age 67 (abbreviated to Fo.A. 67 or F.O.) is the 67th year of the Sun of the Fourth Age of Middle-earth. Unless otherwise stated, Tolkien Gateway follows Shire usage in Appendix B for reckoning Fourth Age years: Fourth Age 67 was also known as S.R. 1488 in Shire-reckoning.
Notable events in this year include:
- Death of Elphir, Prince of Dol Amroth.[1][note 1]
- Alphros, son of Elphir, becomes the twenty-fourth Prince of Dol Amroth.[1]

- ↑ In the list of the Princes of Dol Amroth in The Peoples of Middle-earth the death of Elphir was first shown as "(3087=) F.A. 57". This is incorrect since 3087 should correspond to F.A. 67. Later on the same page 3087 is equated with F.A. 67 so the date of 57 was a typo.
