Fourth Age 20

Fourth Age 20 (abbreviated to Fo.A. 20 or F.O.) is the 20th year of the Sun of the Fourth Age of Middle-earth. Unless otherwise stated, Tolkien Gateway follows Shire usage in Appendix B for reckoning Fourth Age years: Fourth Age 20 was also known as S.R. 1441 in Shire-reckoning.
Notable events in this year include:
- Legolas brought south Elves out of Greenwood, and they dwelt in Ithilien, and it became once again the "fairest country in all the westlands."[1][2]
Mid-year's Day
- Samwise Gamgee is elected Mayor of Michel Delving for the third time .[3]
