::I am confident that the correct title would be “Eastemnet Downs” as this is in line with other locations named by Tolkien in his works (see [[Far_Downs]], [[South_Downs]] or [[White_Downs]]). What title would be best for a page about the downs in the Eastemnet? Downs of the Eastemnet? Downs in the Eastemnet? J.R.R. Tolkien does not give a name to those downs, but the three hunters travel there in the narrative of The Lord of the Rings and they are described in the narrative. on henneth-annun.net the page with quotes about them is just called "Downs, The". http://www.henneth-annun.net/places_view.cfm?plid=437 They are not included in The West of Middle-earth at the End of the Third-Age map, the General Map of Middle-earth or the Map of Rohan, Gondor and Mordor. However they are included in The Third Map of the Lord of the Rings and in The First Map of the Lord of the Rings. Based on those maps and based on the locations of the labels Eastemnet and Wold on those map, the downs are rather in the Eastemnet than in the Wold. In addition the narrative mentions that ahead and eastward (of the most northerly of the downs) they saw the windy uplands of the Wold of Rohan.
