Flambard Took was a Hobbit of the Shire.
History
Flambard was the son of Isembard Took, one of the Old Took's younger sons. He had one son, Adelard.[1]
Etymology
Like many other members of the Took clan, Flambard's name has military connections: a flambard (flam "flame" + bard "battle-axe") is a large sword with a waved or flame-shaped blade.[2]
