Everholt

Everholt was the name the Rohirrim gave to a section of the Firien Wood. It was notorious for its boar, after which the forest was named.

Ettmology

The name means "boar-wood". The first element comes from Old English eofor, "boar".

Eofor is also a Rohirric name.
