• Armenelos, the capital of Númenor, which was the seat of the island's rulers throughout the Second Age.
• Minas Tirith, city of Gondor, originally named Minas Anor before the twenty-seventh King, Tarondor, moved the royal seat of Gondor from Osgiliath to Minas Anor in the Third Age.
