The Hobbit was a stage adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit written by Glyn Robbins. It was played for the first time between 28 November 2001 to 9 February 2002, at Queen's Theatre in London. The play was performed under license from Middle-earth Enterprises.

The stage adaptation by the late children's playwright Glyn Robbins has played to nearly half a million people during national tours and Christmas seasons in the West End.[1]
