Good point, I'll look into it: I vaguely remember that H&S mention it as a "note inserted" into the book, but the link to the sale indicates that it's rather an inscription.--Morgan 16:47, 27 March 2014 (UTC)

H&S mention a "a brief note to accompany" the inscription, and the auction description speaks of "Loosely inserted .. short autograph note". So, the inscribed book is one thing, and the inserted note (the main subject of this article) is another.--Morgan 13:41, 28 March 2014 (UTC)
