Nenuvar

From Tolkien Gateway

Nenuvar were most likely the fays of lily-ponds, according to the early version of the legendarium associated with The Book of Lost Tales.[1]

Etymology[edit | edit source]

The name Nenuvar is in Qenya, with the word nénuvar meaning "pool of lilies" in the Qenya Lexicon,[1] being derived from the root NENE ("flow?").[2]
