Firstborn

(Redirected from Elder Kindred)
The Firstborn was a name for Elves, the Elder Children of Ilúvatar, who awoke in Middle-earth millennia before Men, the Aftercomers.[1] It applied as a name to all Elves as a whole,[2] while the very first 144 Elves, who were awakened by Eru at Cuiviénen, were called the Unbegotten.[3]
