Year of the Trees 1132 (abbreviated to Y.T. 1132) is the 1132nd year of the Trees in the First Age of Arda. Year of the Trees 1132 was also V.Y. 4632 in Valian Years.
Notable events in this year include:
- Ulmo moves the isle of Eressëa to the Bay of Balar. Ulmo summons the Elves to embark on the isle and leave for Aman; only the Vanyar and the Noldor hear the summons and they leave Middle-earth without the Teleri.[1]
- Part of the island breaks off and remains in the Bay, becoming the Isle of Balar.[2]
- The Teleri, in the east of Beleriand, search for their lord Elwë. Unsuccessful - and discovering that Ingwë and Finwë had already departed - they make Elwë's brother Olwë their lord. They push onto the shores and are befriended by Ossë and Uinen and become lovers of the seas.[1]
