Year of the Trees 1102 (abbreviated to Y.T. 1102) is the 1102nd year of the Trees in the First Age of Arda. Year of the Trees 1102 was also V.Y. 4602 in Valian Years.
Notable events in this year include:
- The Elves are unwilling to heed the summons of Oromë and leave Middle-earth for Aman. Therefore, Oromë invites three chieftains to join him on a visit to Valinor: Ingwë, Finwë and Elwë.[1]
- After speaking to the Valar and seeing the light of the Two Trees, the three chieftains see the awe and splendour of Valinor.[1]
