Yávien was the only daughter and oldest child of Nolondil, the brother of Tar-Amandil, King of Númenor. Almost nothing is known of her life.[1]
Etymology
In Quenya her name means "Fruit-maiden" (from yávë "fruit" and -ien = feminine suffix) or "She of the Autumn" (from yávië = "autumn" and -ien).
