Westfold was the westernmost region of Rohan, lying immediately to the east of the Gap of Rohan, from the Isen to the Folde. Its border with the Eastfold was marked by the course of the Snowbourn River.

Its defensive center was Helm's Deep and its master dwelt in Hornburg.
