Tyelkormo was the mother-name of the third son of Fëanor. It means "Hasty-riser" and it is a reference to his quick temper.[1]

In Middle-earth, his name was Sindarinized as Celegorm.

Etymology

The name is composed of three elements: tyelk- "swift" + óre "rising" + -mo "-er"
