Third Age 2244 (abbreviated to T.A. 2244) is the 2244th year of the Sun of the Third Age of Middle-earth. Third Age 2244 was also known as S.R. 644 in Shire-reckoning.
Notable events in this year include:
- Death of Ruling Steward Húrin I of Gondor.[1]
