The First 'Silmarillion' Map is a map of Beleriand drawn by J.R.R. Tolkien on single sheet (likely dating from c. 1926-30[note 1]), with "two supplementary sheets, giving an Eastern and a Western extension to the main or central map".[1]

Notes
- ↑ Christopher Tolkien believes the map to be contemporary with the manuscript "Sketch of the Mythology"; see J.R.R. Tolkien, Christopher Tolkien (ed.), The Shaping of Middle-earth, "II. The Earliest 'Silmarillion' (The 'Sketch of the Mythology')", p. 11.
