Template talk:Adaptation

From Tolkien Gateway

How about changing the colour of this template (and make the text smaller)? The green is very intense.--Morgan 21:57, 14 March 2011 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Yeah, this looks better, IMO.--Morgan 22:16, 14 March 2011 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Agreed, a big improvement on the current banner.-- KingAragorn  talk  contribs  edits  email  00:32, 15 March 2011 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Template format[edit source]

This template takes the format of a maintenance template. Whilst maintenance templates are meant to be included in pages on a temporary basis, this template is meant to be included permanently. Should we redesign this template? -- KingAragorn  talk  contribs  edits  email  13:15, 12 July 2011 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Why was this template replaced?[edit source]

KA, may I ask why you replaced the adaptations template with a noncanon template? I think we should differiate concepts created by Tolkien with concepts from adaptations. --Amroth 18:39, 23 March 2012 (UTC)Reply[reply]

You may ask. Note my comment in the edit summary: 'For now...'. Also note that I recently changed the Noncanon and Disputedcanon templates. I will give Adaptations its own template when I can find a good quotation.-- KingAragorn  talk  contribs  edits  email  18:46, 23 March 2012 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I would argue, the noncanon template should have a comeback in light of the Amazon productions. Smeagol (talk) 03:45, 18 November 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
What purpose would the Noncanon template have that the adaptation template does not already have?Dour1234 (talk) 06:38, 18 November 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
