Ted Sandyman was the son of Sandyman the Hobbiton miller, who fell under the influence of Lotho Sackville-Baggins during the War of the Ring and became a collaborator with 'Sharkey's' regime.
Inspiration
It is possible J.R.R. Tolkien was inspired by the miller’s son at Sarehole mill, Warwickshire, England.
