Just wondering (as a non-native English speaker): shouldn't it be "The StiffBeards"? --Earendilyon 13:45, 29 April 2006 (EDT)

We tend to not capitalize letters in the middle of a word, even if the word stems from two other complete words. Hyphenation is a possiblity but not present in this case. I'm pretty sure Tolkien has it written as Stiffbeards. On another topic I still can't decide if Stiffbeards, The Stiffbeards, Stiffbeards Family, Stiffbeards family, or The Stiffbeards Family etc should be the standard title. --Hyarion 13:52, 29 April 2006 (EDT)
I meant at the start of the article: "The Stiffbeards were one of the ...." --Earendilyon 14:01, 29 April 2006 (EDT)
Ah so The is what you were wondering? I would add "The", yes ;) Without the "The" it implies, well I'm not sure what it implies, a broader range of Stiffbeards perhaps? You don't need to say "The Elves" for instance. --Hyarion 14:04, 29 April 2006 (EDT)
