Talk:Arathorn I

Does anyone have a source for this "Attacked by wolves" line? I can't find it in either Appendix A or The Peoples of Middle-earth (which actually says he wasn't killed prematurely). --Mith (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 15:31, 24 December 2009 (UTC)

I couldn't either, so I removed it (it's a very empty page now, btw). I couldn't find a source on his birth year; it's not in the Tale of Years. -- Ederchil ^{(Talk/Contribs/Edits)} 16:33, 24 December 2009 (UTC)

All the birth years are given in "The Heirs of Elendil" in The Peoples of Middle-earth. As far as I'm aware, these are all canonical (and the death dates are consistent with Appendix A); the only difference is that Arathorn is listed in Appendix A as having died prematurely, whereas PM says he died naturally. --Mith (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 16:49, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
