Stephen Thorne (1935-2019) was a renowned radio actor and audiobook narrator. His credits include Treebeard in BBC's The Lord of the Rings radio series, Aslan in Brian Sibley's radio version of C.S. Lewis' The Chronicles of Narnia, and several characters in Doctor Who.
