Second Age 829
From Tolkien Gateway
Second Age 829 (abbreviated to S.A. 829) is the 829th year of the Sun of the Second Age of Middle-earth.
Notable events in this year include:
- Aldarion returns from Middle-earth with nine ships loaded with fine timber from the forests of the coats of Middle-earth having built two additional ships at the haven of Vinyalondë.[1]
- Aldarion departs again towards Middle-earth with a fleet of three ships for a fourteen year long voyage, because Tar-Meneldur had ordered the shipyards of Rómenna to be closed and had forbidden the felling of trees for shipbuilding and Aldarion's ships need refitment because they had been damaged by rough winds.[1]
