sír
From Tolkien Gateway
sír[1] (also rendered sīr[2]) is a Quenya word meaning "river".
The dual form siryat appears in the sentence imbe siryat ("between two rivers"),[3] yielding an unattested singular form *sirya ("river").[4]
In the Etymologies, Quenya/Old Noldorin sīre ("river") derives from the root SIR ("flow").[5][6]
